Who said getting a luxurious look needs to be expensive? Perhaps one of the most sought-after designers of late, Mansur Gavriel is that understated elegance for which we've all been looking.
Started by Rachel Mansur and Floriana Gavriel in 2010, they became Mansur Gavriel. These ladies have an eye for casual elegance in a market that is obsessed with ornamentation. Their use of Italian vegetable tanned leather with striking interior colors is something needed in any wardrobe. Clean lines and bright colors give the feeling of Italy in the sixties or the casualness of a California beach.
Mansur Gavriel bags are designed to grow with you. The heartiness of the leather will keep the bag sturdy and it will eventually age with a glowing patina. The bag pictured here is the Small Tote in Cammello--a beautiful light caramel tone--with a stunning orange interior.
I was lucky to grab this off of Moda Operandi when they received a quick restock! What makes this bag especially amazing is how affordable it is! This Small Tote only put me back $425--and for the materials and its construction, it's worth every penny.
For being a "small" bag, it's incredibly spacious. I can easily fit my MacBook Air 11", iPad Air or regular iPad, wallet, books, phone, magazine and other essentials. The Small Tote is a chameleon--the perfect day bag that can be both a casual or dressy accessory.
Other bags available are the Large Tote and the ever-famous Bucket Bag. Both are must-haves as well. And at this price, it's totally doable. There's no doubting that Mansur Gavriel is hot stuff--they won't stay on the shelves. Grab one when you can!
