When I first laid eyes on the bag, to be honest I wasn't sold. I was obsessed with monogram, and something about it looked plain to me, but then slowly my taste changed. I sold all of my monogram pieces, and had my eyes (and heart) set on the beautiful Sofia Coppola bag.

I was waiting for the perfect neutral to add to my collection, and the beautiful color of Granit (also known as Ciment) came in. It is a subtle brown with slightly lighter stitching. Absolutely stunning. Thankfully, it had a long shelf life, since it took me a very long time to save up to purchase this beauty.

The interior is full suede, and without a doubt the bag is luxurious inside and out. Pictured above is the SC PM, which is large enough to fit a regular sized iPad and daily essentials. It is very easy to carry over the shoulder or by the top handles.

After I found that I loved the PM, I became interested in the classic MM in the classic Cobalt color. The MM fits some magazines, essentials, and notably a MacBook Air 11 inch laptop. Since acquiring it from Fashionphile, I've used it on trips, notably one to Nantucket where it was the perfect almost nautical and casual yet luxurious. I'd highly recommend the MM for travel.

Rumor has it this bag might be eventually phased out as it is a Marc Jacobs collaboration. It is a personal favorite of mine, so I hope they won't discontinue it anytime soon!
