This iconic David Yurman Color Classics bracelet is an eye-catching piece. Even my tabletop pumpkin loves it! Ready for Halloween--in style of course.

What I love about David Yurman is that his pieces are absolutely beautiful but you only know it's Yurman if you've seen the brand before--much like the Oliver Peoples sunglasses I wrote about before. Stylish yet demure. These Color Classics bracelets are made of sterling silver cable, accented with 14-karat yellow gold and are topped with faceted citrine. They are available in a slew of colors; just check online or with your local Yurman boutique.

This is definitely a jewelry trend that should be a staple in everyone's collection. It's classy but casual and is perfect for a business ensemble as well. Yurman is so versatile and is wearable in so many situations.

Marc by Marc Jacobs Marci 36MM Rose Gold Watch

Beck, Modest Mouse, and Cage the Elephant--oh my!

I was recently in New York for Governors Ballmusic festival, and was lucky to find a great pickup at the Marc by Marc Jacobs store in SoHo. I've been on the prowl for a rose gold watch for a while, but I haven't found one that quite tickled my fancy. The Marc by Marc collection rose gold watches are very nice, but most of them have the brand name plastered all around the face of the watch in bright whites or in colors. Personally, I'd rather have something that is not as loud or self-advertising. I was lucky to have found the perfect watch in Manhattan!

This Marci36MM Rose Gold watch is discreet with its circular, mirror-like watch face, and same-tone brand name which acts in place of normal watch face numbers. It's also sleek with its linked-chain band. It's very comfortable to wear, and when worn in heat, it doesn't make you sweat too intensely. The band is smooth, the watch made out of stainless steel, and doesn't cause irritation, which is important as I have extremely sensitive skin. Overall, it's a beautiful piece, and is as eye-catching as it is discreet.

What kind of watch is on your wish list?

Hermès Cuir Baby Double Tours in Etoupe

Hermès Cuir Baby Double Tours in Etoupe

It's been a while since I've been at Hermès, so it was about time for a trip back!

Initially, I was set on finding another enamel bracelet, but I've always been intrigued by the soft leather option. Interestingly enough, the first bracelet that I tried on was the best fit and style for me. The etoupe color is so discreet and the shape of the buckle is like a hidden "H". Stylish and chic but also timeless and classy. Only if you knew Hermès would you know its design. Assured that the bracelet will develop a nice patina and over time handles weather and oil decently, I was sold. It's incredibly comfortable and can easily coordinate with many outfits. I'm so excited to start accessorizing outfits with this great addition!

Do you own a leather bracelet? What do you like about this style?

Strands of Summer: Kenneth Jay Lane Multi-Strand Necklace

My most recent obsession (in addition to my incurable addiction to handbags and newly, shoes) has been necklaces. The bigger, the better!

There's nothing better than wearing a demure ensemble and accessorizing your outfit with an eye-catching necklace, bag and shoes. Usually I just pick one to accentuate. Either the necklace, bag or shoes has to make a statement--and considering this necklace, I'd have to say that oftentimes this piece takes the cake.  This costume piece is faux pearl with beautiful turquoise and coral colors. It's screaming, "summer!"

What are you dreaming about wearing for the summer season?

P.S., Random but in reference to my newfound shoe-obsession:  If you're looking to follow an awesome shoe blog,  The Shoe Closzet is one of my favorites!
